Tess Rafols

Tess Rafols joined Arizona's family in January 2005 covering a variety of topics as a reporter. A year and a half later, Rafols became the weekend anchor/host of "Good Morning Arizona." You'll still find her reporting for "Good Evening Arizona" several days of the week. She thinks it's the perfect schedule, getting to be both in the studio and out in the field since she loves breaking news and telling stories that touch the heart.
The Southern California came to 3TV from WTOL in Toledo, Ohio where she was the morning show anchor. Before that, Rafols anchored at KEYT-TV in Santa Barbara, California and covered stories for the Orange County News Channel.
Rafols' experience includes working as a reporter for the Orange County News Channel and anchoring the morning show at KEYT-TV in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Rafols has been nominated for several awards for her anchoring and reporting. Some of the most memorable stories she has covered include the aftermath of an F5 tornado and an investigative report on a serial killer. But her favorite story of is when she convinced the Backstreet Boys to visit a sick little girl at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Rafols graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
When she's not chasing down the news of the day, Rafols enjoys reading, cooking, exploring the Valley of the Sun and spending time with family and friends.
News is all in the family... Rafols is married to a television news producer. They are the proud parents of Chance, their crazy black Lab, and Cleveland, an even crazier yellow Lab.
