Olivia Fierro brightens your morning five times a week, even before the sun comes up, as part of the top-rated "Good Morning Arizona." You can also watch her daily, along with Scott Pasmore, on "Good Day Arizona" at 11 a.m.

Fierro joined Arizona's Family at the start of 2003 as the Northern Arizona Bureau reporter.

Since then she's worn many hats: reporting for both the morning and evening newscasts, hosting GMAZ Weekends, even filling in as a weather forecaster!

Her broadcasting experience includes a two-year stint as anchor and reporter at KVII in Amarillo, Texas, and several years of producing at the Fox station in Los Angeles.

Fierro is a graduate of UCLA, with dual degrees in history and women's studies. She studied broadcast journalism through UCLA's extension program, but mainly learned the ins and outs of TV on the job.

A native of Whittier, Calif., and the youngest of three children, Fierro says she is now proud to call the Valley, and 3TV, home.
